Hello, my name is Jeannie Hunter. I’m one of the founders of Storm Loss Private Adjusters. My career in the insurance industry started back in the early 2000s as an independent insurance field adjuster working for hundreds of insurance companies like Farmers, USAA, Metlife, Liberty Mutual/Safeco, Travelers, AAA, and many others.
I decided to leave the insurance carriers because over the years the industry had changed for the worse. The insurance companies cared more and more about their bottom line than they did about their customers. For instance, I remember getting an email from corporate that said that to save the company money, we would not be replacing any roofs this week and instead only repairing them (regardless of what the policyholder was actually owed).
Today, At Storm Loss Private Adjusters, I’m proud to say I’ve gotten back to doing what drew me to the insurance industry in the first place: helping the home and business owners in their times of need. We work for you, NOT the insurance company!
